Join your neighbors at the Cape Arthur Beach to celebrate Independence Day - Friday, July 4th.

2:00PM ANNUAL COMMUNITY BIKE PARADE: Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon or golf cart and meet at the Lydia E. Giddings Playground for the parade around 1:45pm. The parade will begin at 2pm and ends at the beach.

5:00PM Gather at the Beach

6:00 - 7:00PM Dessert Competition – Desserts on the table for judging. PLEASE NO TASTING UNTIL THE WINNER IS ANNOUNCED

6:30PM - Bring your best cannonballs, jacknifes, and belly flops for our Biggest (or least graceful) Splash Contest

*This event is BYOBeverage/Food (paper plates available for dessert competition)
